1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the AbroadLift website, mobile application, calculators, dashboards, saved profiles, alerts, tools, content, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
By creating an account, clicking “I Agree,” submitting information, uploading documents, or otherwise using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any other notices displayed on the Platform.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
2. About AbroadLift
AbroadLift is an information and self-application support platform for students exploring overseas education opportunities.
AbroadLift is not an education consultancy, immigration consultancy, migration agent, legal advisor, or financial advisor unless expressly stated under a separate written contract.
AbroadLift does not: guarantee admission, visas, scholarships, accommodation, or jobs; act as your authorized representative before any university, embassy, government authority, lender, or partner; or provide legal, immigration, tax, or regulated financial advice.
The Platform is intended to help users research, estimate, organize, compare, and prepare for self-application.
3. Eligibility and Age Requirement
The Platform is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
You may create and operate an independent account only if you are at least 18 years old.
If you are under 18: you must not independently create an account or accept these Terms on your own; any access or use must be done only through a parent or lawful guardian where AbroadLift expressly permits such use; AbroadLift may require guardian verification or may refuse access entirely until you reach 18 years of age.
By creating an account, you represent and warrant that: you are at least 18 years old, or you are acting through a parent or lawful guardian in a manner specifically permitted by AbroadLift.
AbroadLift reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate any account that does not satisfy these age and eligibility requirements.
4. Nature of the Information Provided
The Platform may provide: country-level study information, tuition estimates, admission process guidance, visa-related guidance, required document checklists, cost breakdowns, affordability indicators, financial proof indicators, bank-balance requirement references, estimated living expenses, timeline reminders, and external service references.
All such information is provided for general informational and planning purposes only.
Information shown on the Platform may be based on: publicly available data, institution-published content, user-entered data, historical cost patterns, internal estimate logic, or third-party feeds or partner-provided information.
Because tuition, visa fees, bank-balance requirements, document rules, insurance charges, flight costs, forex costs, housing costs, and government policies can change at any time, AbroadLift does not guarantee that any content or figure on the Platform is always current, complete, official, or suitable for your individual circumstances.
You are solely responsible for verifying critical requirements and final costs directly with the relevant institution, embassy, authority, or service provider before making decisions or payments.
5. No Consultancy, No Advisory Relationship, No Guaranteed Outcome
By using AbroadLift, you acknowledge and agree that:
a. AbroadLift is primarily a self-help information platform.
b. Use of the Platform does not create a consultancy, agency, legal advisory, fiduciary, or representative relationship between you and AbroadLift.
c. AbroadLift does not guarantee admission, visa approval, scholarship approval, education loan approval, accommodation allocation, post-study work opportunity, or any other outcome.
d. Any cost estimate, readiness score, affordability indication, or checklist is indicative only and not a promise or commitment.
e. Final application, payment, submission, and compliance responsibility remains with the user.
6. User Responsibilities
You agree that you will: provide accurate, complete, and current information; update your data where relevant; verify final requirements independently; upload only genuine and lawfully obtained documents; keep your account credentials secure; and use the Platform only for lawful and legitimate purposes.

You remain fully responsible for your own decisions, submissions, and communications with any external entity.
7. Documents and User Content
The Platform may allow you to input or upload: personal details, academic records, ID status, passport details or passport status, test score details, budget-related data, bank-balance indicators, contact details, statements, resumes, or other supporting material.

However, by submitting them, you grant AbroadLift a non-exclusive right to store, process, classify, analyze, and use them for purposes including: account creation and management; generation of cost breakdowns; creation of checklists; personalization of dashboards; readiness assessment; support and troubleshooting; fraud prevention; audit, compliance, and dispute resolution; and sharing where you have requested or consented to such sharing.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that all information and documents you provide are accurate, lawful, and authentic.
8. Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials and for all activities that occur through your account.
You must notify AbroadLift promptly if you suspect unauthorized access, misuse, or a security breach relating to your account.
AbroadLift may take reasonable steps including verification, access restriction, or account suspension where necessary to protect users, systems, or third parties.

You understand and accept that: external entities may contact you directly, their own privacy policies and terms will apply, AbroadLift cannot fully control their conduct once lawful disclosure has been made, and consent for future sharing may be withdrawn, but past disclosures made lawfully may not always be reversible.
14. Cross-Border Data Processing
Because the Platform supports overseas education journeys, your data may be processed, stored, accessed, or transferred across jurisdictions.
By using the Platform and providing your data, you consent to such cross-border processing and storage, subject to applicable law.
AbroadLift may use service providers or partners located in other jurisdictions where reasonably necessary to operate the Platform and related services.
15. Data Retention
AbroadLift may retain your personal data for up to 10 years where reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or subsequently required, including: maintaining your profile and service history, allowing re-engagement or future use, audit and recordkeeping, fraud prevention, system security, dispute resolution, enforcement of contractual rights, and legal and regulatory compliance.
AbroadLift may retain data for a shorter period where continued retention is not reasonably necessary, and may delete, anonymize, restrict, or archive data earlier where appropriate.
Even if you request deletion or stop using the Platform, certain records may be retained for a reasonable period where necessary for: legal obligations, fraud prevention, backup integrity, security logs, dispute defense, and internal audit.

17. Fees, Pricing, and Payments
Some features of the Platform may be free, while some features may later become paid.
Unless specifically stated: third-party charges are not charges of AbroadLift; and university fees, visa fees, exam fees, insurance charges, loan processing charges, courier charges, flight costs, forex fees, and similar costs are payable to the respective third parties.

You may stop using the Platform at any time. However, cessation of use does not automatically require immediate deletion of data where continued retention remains reasonably necessary under these Terms.
